Your computer name identifies your device. Vector One IT Solutions or your IT department might ask for your computer name to help with troubleshooting.

Follow the steps for your computer's operating system to find your computer name.

Windows 11

• Select Start > Settings
Your computer name appears at the top of the System window.

Windows 10

• Select Start > Settings > System > About.
Your computer name appears under Device specifications.

macOS Ventura or later

• On the Apple menu, select System Settings > General > About.
Your computer name appears at the top of the About window.

Your computer name appears at the top of the Sharing window.
